Pinkapalooza 3 Wrap up: It's All For The Kids!

After a long night of rocking, drinking, donating and raffles Pinkapalooza 3 stumbled to a close as the event wound down. Lots of gamers came out and supported Child's Play by donating to Pink Gorilla's annual raffle of games, toys and plushies, and some even took home some of the years hottest games like Brutal Legend, Left 4 Dead 2 and Demon's Souls to name a few. Thanks to all the gamers who came out and supported the event by donating, rocking out on stage or by supporting the events musical acts.

The night began as the PG crew made its way to the Nectar Lounge in Fremont, hauling the plastic instruments just as they did in years past for Pinkapalooza 1 and 2. This year brought out all new musical acts along with old favorite Rock Band 2 and after a few mic problems were fixed the night went off with out a hitch.

After the dust settled, the bar closed and the last few straglers stumbled out, the tally was in; over $1000 was raised for Penny Arcade's Child's Play Charity making the night a sucess. Thanks to all those who came out! Hit the jump for a full recap with pics from the nights events!

As the night continued, the acts got even better. As the crowd appeared out of nowhere, things got crazy as everyone rushed to the bar for drinks.

PG would also like to thank the great staff of the Nectar Lounge for all their help keeping things running smoothly. PG could never forget our fearless performers; Beefy, Robotronica, and Kids Get Hit by Buses who brought the house down with awesome tunes all night.

And last but not least, everyone who came and donated! The event would be nothing without the support of gamers coming out and giving back!
