It's Hard Out Here For A Pimptendo
Are you looking for the perfect classic console to compliment your pimp style? Many gamers, like PG's own Elder Kozo, often find themselves sitting on their oversize thrones, pimp cup in hand, their bejeweled canes sadly resting by their side, wishing that they had a more flashy Nintendo.
These poor deprived playas can now rejoice, as the ultimate pimped out classic console has appeared! Say hello to the Pimptendo. We're not quite sure where this magical creation originated, but we think it was probably Huggy Bear's gameroom. This majestic modded NES has just appeared on the video game auction site Chase the Chuckwagon, with a low starting bid of only $50.
Keep reading for all the details. (We'd make a pimp joke here, but it's a long article and we're trying to pace ourselves.)
From what we can gather from the pictures, the Pimptendo appears to be covered in solid gold. Of course, every true pimp knows that solid gold is passé. Therefore, the NES is then enveloped in what looks like a fresh zebra skin.
On top of the console a spot has been cut out, covered in what is probably polished crystal, and is in the shape of a bowling pin. (We think that it was supposed to be a pimp cup but it didn't really turn out that well) If you peer through the clear spot in the console, you can see a couple of LED lights that sparkle like a cluster of rubies whenever the machine is in operation.
The bottom half of the Pimptendo is covered by some kind of fuzzy purple skirt. It almost looks like a grape colored version of PG's convention booth. The controller is also decked out in the gold/zebra fur combo, and is adorned with a variety of precious jewels. The entire package is then garnished with a peacock feather, in case the one on your pimp hat has fallen out.
We can only imagine the astronomical sum that this kingly NES will sell for. But you better prepare to pay top dollar, as you can be sure that Elder Kozo is preparing to pour his entire pimp fortune into this auction.
(By the way, if you check out the pictures on the Pimptendo auction, you can see that the NES has a copy of Stadium Events, an obscenely rare and valuable cart, in it. Clearly the seller is showing off just how pimp his or her collection really is.)
