By now everyone should be familiar with Activision's infamous gaffe of mispelling “Lynyrd Skynrd” on the box cover of Guitar Hero: Metallica. While certainly not nearly as egregious an error as the infamous IGN watermark on the box cover of Okami for the Wii, it's still bad. That got the creative minds of the Elders thinking. What if other famous games had launched with a typo in the box art. What would the reception have been? Would Ninja Gaiden have turned into a franchise if it had launched as Ninja Garden.
