    Video Game History Database Hub

The history of the video game industry is a very long and interesting story. From it's conception in the 50's and 60's, to it's birth in the 70's, to it's rise, fall, and rebirth in the 80's, to the glory years of the 90's and today, our favorite hobby has been on a long, strange trip.

Here at Pink Gorilla, we have a passion for gaming's history. Our research team has diligently poured through video game lore, and has presented many articles highlighting the games and personalities of days gone by. As the new year dawns, we are increasing our commitment to bringing you a comprehensive history of video games.

To help codify the large and unwieldy amount of information on the history of video games, we have created this handy "library" to house all of our previous retro articles. As the year goes on, we will add many new pieces to the library, including an massive timeline, chronicling the entire history of games from it's 19th century roots to the present day.
